Setup Email Account on Mailbird Client

Mailbird is an email client software like outlook or thunderbird. Setting an email client is a safe of protecting all your email transaction for the if you have email providers like yahoo mail or google mail. Installing or setting up your own email client will save all your email transactions into your pc. So I am going to show you setting up mailbird email account on windows.

Setting Up Mailbird Email Account

Open Mailbird client and go to Menu -> Settings -> Accounts.

In case if this is the first time you setup email account on mailbird, you will be sent right away to the add account wizard.

Then go to Accounts and click on Add button.

You will be ask to enter your account name and email address. So here is my example bellow. I setup an emial account "mis@ludocoporation.com" that is my company email.

Then after adding your email account. Mailbird cannot detect your email settings right away. You will have to set the incoming and out going email server of your email account. Just like an example bellow. My email uses IMAP and SMTP with SSL/TLS authentication. Many email accounts uses the same security settings.

Then click on Continue if all settings are correct. Then your email account on mailbird client is now ready to receive and send emails. If there are any errors on setting up your email incoming and outgoing server, just refer to your email provider the correct account details.

Then to delete your mailbird email account, just go the same way in Settings->Account and click on your account, then click on Remove button.
